Driving to the Cambridge Suites Hotel from the Halifax International Airport

  • Approximate travel time is 30 minutes
  • Follow the road from the Airport to Highway 102 South (Halifax/Dartmouth)
  • At Exit 5, bear left to Hway 118 - Dartmouth/Halifax via bridges
  • Travel past exits 13 and 12 to Halifax/Burnside/Wright Ave
  • Keep right to Halifax/Commodore Drive Hway 111
  • Keep right to Halifax Hway 111 Mackay Bridge
  • The bridge toll is $1. Change can be provided at the marked booths.
  • Get in the left lane once on the bridge. This will allow you to exit onto Barrington Street. Travel South on Barrington for 3.5 km.
  • After the 3rd set of lights keep right and travel up the incline ramp south along Barrington (keep right at this set of lights).
  • Go through one set of lights. At the next set of lights (Barrington and Duke) you will see the CIBC Building on your left. Continue through.
  • At the next set of lights (Barrington and Prince) turn right onto Prince Street. Continue to the top of the hill until you reach a set of lights.
  • Turn left onto Brunswick Street and continue through the set of lights – you will see the Cambridge Suites Hotel front entrance on the left.
  • To enter the hotel underground parking, turn left at the lights on Brunswick Street onto Sackville Street. Take your first right onto Market Street and the entrance is located on the right at the far end of the building

Driving to The Cambridge Suites Hotel from Yarmouth via Highway 103 (South Shore)

  • Yarmouth to Halifax travel time approximately 3½ hours
  • Follow Highway 103 to Halifax
  • Take exit 1B to merge onto Highway 101 towards Halifax
  • Take a slight right onto Bayers Road, and right again onto Connaught Avenue
  • Once you're past the Chebucto Road intersection, get ready to make a left turn onto Quinpool Road.
  • Continue down Quinpool Road until you reach the Robie Street intersection (near the Halifax Commons). Take a slight right at the intersection onto Bell Road.
  • Take a left onto Sackville Street, which runs alongside Citadel Hill.
  • Follow Sackville Street and take a right onto Brunswick Street. The intersection is just at the end of Citadel Hill. You should now find the Cambridge Suites Hotel front entrance on the left.
  • To enter the hotel underground parking instead, continue on Sackville Street, past the Brunswick Street intersection and take your next right onto Market Street. The entrance is located on the right at the far end of the building.

Driving to the Cambridge Suites Hotel from Yarmouth to Halifax via The Annapolis Valley (Highway 101)

  • Yarmouth to Halifax travel time approximately 4 hours.
  • Upon leaving Yarmouth follow Highway 101 to Halifax via Digby. This route will take you through our beautiful Annapolis Valley.
  • Highway 101 passes through Upper, Middle and Lower Sackville en route to Bedford.
  • At exit 4 (on highway 102) you have the option of proceeding through Bedford to Halifax; or taking the Bedford bypass to Dartmouth. Take the Bedford bypass, which is Route 7 to Dartmouth then onto Halifax. This is a shorter and faster route.
  • Route 7 becomes Windmill Road - take a slight left onto Victoria Road.
  • Follow the signs to the A. Murray Mackay Bridge. There is a toll of $1- only quarters are accepted. Change can be provided at the marked booths.
  • Get in the right lane once on the bridge. This will allow you to exit onto Robie Street. Travel South on Barrington for 3.5 km.
  • Get ready to make a left turn as you approach the Halifax Commons. Turn left onto Bell Road.
  • Take a left at the second intersection once on Bell Road to get onto Sackville Street.
  • Follow Sackville Street and take a right onto Brunswick Street. The intersection is just at the end of Citadel Hill. You should now find the Cambridge Suites Hotel front entrance on the left.
  • To enter the hotel underground parking instead, continue on Sackville Street, past the Brunswick Street intersection and take your next right onto Market Street. The entrance is located on the right at the far end of the building.
